Hi, I'm Holly Nylund.

Small-town SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER and mom of boys.
I started my photography business in 2009. Fresh out of design school, I fell into photography almost by accident. I had a part time job as a retoucher, and pretty soon I wanted to create my own images to play with in Photoshop! Seniors stole my heart right away, and I've specialized in high end fashion inspired senior girl photography for my entire career.
Hungry to improve, I ate up any industry education I could get my hands on, and I did a LOT of experimenting. (I'm still learning, and I don't plan to stop anytime soon!)
My business grew crazy fast, and I was able to reach an average sale of $1500 within my first few years. This is in a small, low income town. Like, we have to drive two hours to get to Olive Garden.
I balance my business with raising two little guys with my husband. I almost always feel like I'm falling short in one area or the other, but I know I'm not alone and I can't imagine spending my days doing anything else.
